Together, let’s break the silence.

At CPIVAS
In 2025, we are celebrating our 40th anniversary, marking four decades of unwavering support for the Laval community. CPIVAS is an essential pillar offering a safe and caring environment for everyone in need of support to deal with the consequences of sexual violences.
Victims of sexual violence and their relatives are offered a secure and supportive environment where we actively listen and work as a team to make a difference in their healing. We also carry the conviction that awareness and prevention programs addressed to youth are concrete tools that act early in the trajectory of their lives to prevent sexual violence and violence in intimate relationships. We have been established in the region of Laval since 1985.

Our
Impact
For 35 years, we have helped support and empower victims of sexual violence in taking back control and power in their own lives. No matter their gender or age, we guide them in coping and taking care of themselves.
Over the years, we have helped nearly 3,000 people through our counselling services. Of these, some were victims and others were relatives. Additionally, we have reached more than 20,000 teenagers ages 14 to 15 through diverse prevention activities and promotion of healthy and equal relationship models.

Service Statement and Complaint Handling Process
CPIVAS is committed to offering quality services. Thus, we adopted a Service Statement to inform you of our commitments.
A complaint-handling process was also implemented. We apply them, as well as all provisions related to the Act to assist persons who are victims of criminal offenses and to facilitate their recovery that came into effect on October 13, 2021. You can read the Statement here.
