Please note that the waiting list is currently closed for intervention services for adults who have experienced sexual violence.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We are still accepting new applications for children and teenagers, as well as for relatives of minors who have experienced sexual violence.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Our multidisciplinary team of sexologists, psychotherapists, social workers, and social work technicians has developed solid expertise in working with victims of sexual violence and their families.<\/p>\n

Please note that the offer of appeasement workshops is suspended for the year 2025-2026.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Appeasement workshops are designed for individuals aged 13+ who are on the waiting list for individual follow-ups to help them deal with the consequences of sexual assault. Registration for these workshops is voluntary. These workshops are offered in the afternoon or evening. Each workshop lasts 2 hours. The first workshop addresses myths and prejudices surrounding sexual violence, aiming to deconstruct them. Subsequent workshops address the issues of mistrust, anxiety and flashbacks that can result from sexual assault. Each workshop provides tools to ensure the well-being of each participant.<\/p>\n

Helping relationship follow-up objectives are discussed and established between the counsellor and the client. Meetings take place on an ongoing weekly basis.<\/p>\n

This follow-up is adapted to the needs of the individual and aims to work on the current consequences of the sexual violence suffered.<\/p>\n

We offer a maximum of 15 one-on-one meetings with clients.<\/p>\n

One-on-One Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

At CPIVAS, we recognize and value the contribution and support of loved ones in the process of helping people who have suffered sexual assault. We firmly believe that the attitude of a loved one can make a big difference in the healing process. We therefore feel it is necessary to offer them a safe space in which to take care of their own experiences so that they are predisposed to acquiring tools and adopting attitudes that can be helpful to their loved ones.<\/p>\n

The follow-up consists of 5 to 10 continuous weekly meetings.<\/p>\n
